Unlocking the door to a more positive way of thinking, and kicking negativity to the curb once an for all.
Too many times we choose to let negative thoughts control our minds and bodies without paying much attention to the long lasting effects it can potentially have on a persons emotional well being. How we think and feel about ourselves plays a very important part in how we will view our world, and those all around us.
Studies have shown that a large percentage of people who display negative behavior on a regular basis, are more likely to suffer from some form of depression and or suicidal thoughts at some point in their life time.
Learning how to control some of those negative thoughts now, will help make way for a much brighter and richer you tomorrow, but the road getting there is a long one, one that will take complete commitment and dedication on your part.
Here are just a few ways to help lead you in a more positive direction. Start off each day with a kind of Morning ritual, taking a few minutes out to look in the mirror, and naming off just a few of the things that you really truly like about yourself. Then try repeating those very same things to yourself at least 3 times, this will help to keep them fresh in your mind as you move throughout the day. Doing so over time, will eventually help to build better self esteem.
Another positive and effective measure to take when working towards a better outlook on life, would be to exercise more. Exercising is a great way for us to not only relief stress, but also helps us maintain a healthy mind and body as well. Just taking a simple daily walk can also be a wonderful way to remain active, while uplifting ones spirit at the same time.
Meditation can also serve as a powerful tool in ridding us of any unnecessary negative clutter we may have. One prime example of that being used by many people today is, the deep breathing method. This type of meditation lets you focus merely on breathing, taking in air through the nose, and slowly releasing it through the mouth. This has a calm and relaxing effect that is sure too eliminate any negative energy you may be experiencing.
Allowing the body and mind to become in tune with one another is found to be an important asset when choosing to live a positive life style. Remember to apply these helpful hints I have given you in your daily routine, and you'll be so amazed with how the negativity will slowly begin to trickle away.
We are the true architects of our lives. Only we as individuals and individuals alone, carry within us, the inner ability to make any changes to it's blue prints.
So what are you waiting for? Go get started, cause you've got a whole lot of positive living too do.

As gas prices in the country continue to skyrocket out of control, Americans are forced to seek out other forms of transportation for getting themselves from point A to point B. With the national average now reaching $4.00 per gallon of regular gas, it´s no wonder more and more people are leaving their vehicles parked in their driveways at home, and turning to other alternatives such as public transportation as a means of getting around. Bus systems alone have seen a steady increase in its public usage as the gas crisis continues to cripple the country. Auto markets have also seen its effects, with its consumers turning toward more economical and affordable vehicles.

Even the very food we place on our tables isn´t spared by its costly effects, forcing food prices at the market to climb higher and higher as the growing price of gas continues to rear its ugly head. So is there any kind of relief insight for drivers, and if not, what can Americans expect? Experts forecast a continued increase in gasoline prices at the pump as summer season approaches, and also predict that people will probably end up taking fewer vacations this season and those who do, will most likely choose a destination closer to home.

Democrats and Republicans continue to point fingers at one another arguing which party they feel is to blame for the recent gas crisis.

Right now, Washington is working tirelessly to come up with a solution that would help bring current gas prices down. One idea being thrown around, is to stop filling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, but that is still yet to be seen.

All Americans can really do now is just sit back and wait, and hope that their nightmare will soon come to pass, but let´s try and remember how the old saying goes, what goes up, must come down, or at least we would like to think so.

The once flourishing economy America has grown so custom to is slowly but surely crumbling right before our eyes, and with no safety net anywhere in sight, its only bound to get worse forecaster predict.

With a $57 Trillion dollar deficit looming over our heads and steadily growing, its no wonder Americans are finding themselves plunging deeper and deeper into debt. In April 2009 alone, we saw unemployment rates jumped to 8.9%-the highest level we´ve seen since September of 83.

Automakers have especially been hit hard with GM anousing the closure of 16 of it´s plants, directly resulting in the loss of 21,000 jobs nationwide. Not only are the plant closures hurting local economies, but the recent shutdown of thousands of dealerships by Chrysler and GM will cause ripples even further throughout local economies. The number of dealership closures ordered in the past week already doubles the number seen in 2008. Estimates are for a total of 17,980 dealerships to exist by the end of 2009, down from the 20,770 at the end of 2008.

Americas fight against terrorism hasn´t come with a cheap price tag for us either. To date, the total cost of the war that has been allocated by Congress is said to be $830.2 billion, with $657.3 to Iraq and $172.9 to Afghanistan.
How can America continue to fight in a war it can no longer fund, when our own economy is at war with itself? Instead of the government pouring billions of dollars of our hard earn money into fighting a war half way around the world, why not try utilizing some of those funds right here at home. Like trying to fix our failing health care system or creating more jobs for instance?

It is my fear, that If we continue to travel down the very same road we´ve been traveling on, Americas future as a global leader, will one day find itself buried beneath its own financial rubble.

Swine Flu otherwise known as the H1N1 virus, continues to infect People globally, and at least for the foreseeable future, doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, their have been more than 5,000 confirmed cases thus far here in the US alone, spanning across 48 states, and some fear these numbers to be much higher.

CDC experts have said it is likely more than 100,000 people are really infected with the virus, which appears mild but is still worrying experts because most patients are young adults, teens and children.

Right now, the best preventable measure we can take in protecting ourselves and our Family from coming in contact with this virus is to wash our hands regularly and keep our noses and mouths covered when sneezing or coughing.

If someone in your Family begins to show signs of flu like symptoms such as high fever, sore throat ,coughing, vomiting or diarrhea, don´t wait for the symptoms to get worse. Call and make an appointment with your physician right away and if unable to wait, go straight to the ER. Keep your living environment as sanitized as possible to make sure the virus isn´t passed on to other members of the Family. Make sure to wipe down all surfaces such as door knobs , counter tops, telephones etc. Don´t ever eat or drink after someone who has been infected and always make sure to wash all cooking and eating utensils in hot water.

Practicing good hygiene is one of the key components in keeping you and your loved ones as germ free as possible, not only during the swine flu outbreak, but through the regular flu season as well. Another way to prevent you and your Family from getting sick is to maintain a healthy diet. Nutrition is very important, because our immune systems depend on the very proteins and nurturance we put into our bodies everyday to help protect us against certain infectious diseases and air born viruses.

Applying some of these helpful hints to your daily routine should serve you well in keeping your Family safe during this flu outbreak.
